The Cunninghams

are a three-piece York Region based indie-rock band that has been headlining venues all over Ontario for several years, including The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern, The Opera House, and many others. The band has independently released two records, several singles, and is currently recording its first full-length album. Shortly after their formation in 2007, The Cunninghams immediately made an impact on the Toronto indie scene with their unique style of “high-class rock ‘n’ roll”, as they won Mazda’s Cross-Canada Muzik Competition, granting them a support slot for Sam Roberts. The Cunninghams have been featured on Alan Cross’ “Explore Music” Podcast program and were subsequently invited to play shows at the Edge102 street-level studios for their Steamwhistle Indie Nights. Since then, The Cunninghams have continued to participate in Toronto-based indie festivals, such as NXNE and Canadian Music Week.
